Unauthenticated account activation via zero quantity
Published Sep 2, 2026 · Updated Sep 2, 2026
Payment bypass in Metagauss RegistrationMagic 6.0.0.0 through 6.0.9.8 allows remote attackers to activate accounts without paying. The paid-registration price calculation trusts a client-supplied quantity multiplier, so a zero value reduces the total to zero and skips payment while registration continues. A payment-enabled public registration form is required; the new account receives the role configured for that form.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
