CVE-2026-77790Network attack vector

Database disclosure via unescaped rm_sortby parameter

Published Aug 26, 2026 · Updated Aug 26, 2026

SQL injection in Metagauss RegistrationMagic before 6.0.9.4 allows remote authenticated users to read database data via rm_sortby. The plugin inserts the rm_sortby parameter into an SQL statement without adequate sanitization or escaping, allowing injected SQL syntax to alter the query. Administrator-level access is required, and the published CISA assessment limits the demonstrated consequence to database confidentiality.
