Subscriber-level reward manipulation via unbound target accounts
Published Sep 2, 2026 · Updated Sep 2, 2026
Authorization bypass in GamiPress before 7.9.9.6 allows remote authenticated users to award points, achievements, and ranks to arbitrary users. The YouTube and Vimeo watch-video listeners fail to bind the target user account to the authenticated account; public sources do not name the affected function or parameter. Subscriber access and configured video rewards are required, and repeated listener requests can inflate any account's gamification status without limit.
