Unauthenticated data disclosure via guest-accessible AJAX nonce
Published Aug 26, 2026 · Updated Aug 26, 2026
Sensitive data exposure in Themeum Kirki before 6.0.14 allows remote attackers to read user emails and private WordPress content. The public kirki_get_apis AJAX action accepts a nonce that Kirki prints for guests, then serves selected user, comment, page, and settings endpoints without a capability check. Any remote visitor who can load a Kirki-rendered page can obtain the nonce and disclose registered-user emails, comment-author emails and IP addresses, and non-public content.
