CVE-2026-7771

Denial of service via crafted subquery compilation

Published Jul 17, 2026 · Updated Jul 17, 2026

Infinite-loop denial of service in IBM Db2 11.5.0 through 11.5.9 and 12.1.0 through 12.1.4 allows local users to disrupt Db2. IBM identifies compilation of crafted statements containing subqueries but withholds the affected compiler routine and exact unreachable loop condition. Exploitation requires local access and user interaction; affected client or server editions can lose availability without reported data disclosure or modification.
