CVE-2026-7765Network attack vector

Message disclosure via issuer-bound share tokens

Published Jun 8, 2026 · Updated Jun 8, 2026

Incorrect authorization in Checkmk 2.5.0 through 2.5.0p4 allows remote attackers to read a dashboard issuer's personal messages. The get_user_messages_token_auth.py endpoint resolves the share token to its issuer and returns that account's messages instead of suppressing message retrieval on shared dashboards. A valid public dashboard share token is required, but direct endpoint requests work without a User Messages widget; reported impact is limited to disclosure of the issuer's messages.
