Service interrupt via concatenated compressed substreams

Compression-bomb bypass in Tor before 0.4.9.9 allows remote attackers to interrupt service via crafted gzip or zlib streams. Tor applies its compression-bomb detection per compressed sub-stream, so an attacker can chain many gzip or zlib members that each stay just below the threshold and evade the check entirely. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the published CVSS and descriptions bound the consequence to low availability impact rather than data exposure or code execution.
