Admin tool execution via missing write checks
Published Sep 22, 2026 · Updated Sep 22, 2026
Incorrect authorization in Cloudreve before 4.18.0 allows remote authenticated users with Admin.Read to invoke admin tool operations. The wopi GET and mail POST routes in routers/router.go inherited Admin.Read but omitted the Admin.Write middleware used by adjacent state-changing routes. An administrator-issued read-only OAuth token or API key is required; it can probe configured WOPI endpoints and send arbitrary test email through the server SMTP configuration.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
