CVE-2026-77532

Adjacent-network code execution via DHCPv6 heap overflow

Published Aug 26, 2026 · Updated Aug 26, 2026

Heap-based buffer overflow in DHCPv6 on Ubiquiti EdgeMAX EdgeSwitch before 1.12.2 allows remote attackers to execute code. Ubiquiti has not published the affected DHCPv6 parsing locus or the operation that overruns its heap buffer. Reachability requires DHCPv6 to be enabled and the attacker to have adjacent-network access; successful exploitation grants code execution on the switch.
