Cross-application chat disclosure via unscoped record queries
Published Sep 21, 2026 · Updated Sep 24, 2026
Missing authorization in MaxKB 2.10.2-lts and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read other applications' chat records. Management serializers authorize the path application_id but query ChatRecord objects by global chat_id and chat_record_id without checking application ownership. Exploitation requires a normal user in the victim's workspace, an attacker-owned application, and knowledge of the victim chat identifier; add_knowledge can also copy answers and alter improvement metadata.
