Cross-user MCP configuration disclosure via unchecked tool IDs
Published Sep 21, 2026 · Updated Sep 22, 2026
Missing authorization in KubeOperator MaxKB 2.10.2-lts and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read another user's MCP tool configuration. The tool-detail route returns Tool.code by identifier without the list route's resource check, while workflow save and debug accept a foreign mcp_tool_id without verifying permission. Exploitation requires users in the same workspace, knowledge of an active victim tool ID, and workflow edit access for owner-configured MCP use.
