Payment bypass via unchecked test-gateway selection
Published Oct 15, 2026 · Updated Oct 15, 2026
Payment bypass in Lychee before 7.7.0 allows remote attackers to obtain webshop items without paying via the Dummy test gateway. CreateSessionRequest accepts provider enum values without enforcing OmnipayProviderType::isAllowed(), leaving production restrictions in the checkout options only. Exploitation requires an accessible Supporter or Pro webshop and a purchasable item; guest checkout permits unauthenticated buyers, automatic fulfillment releases items when enabled, and additional license-layer validation remains unverified because testing bypassed that middleware.
