CVE-2026-77438Public exploitNetwork attack vectorHinoki check available

Protected-note disclosure via unchecked share-search results

Published Aug 27, 2026 · Updated Aug 27, 2026

Information disclosure in Trilium Notes 0.103.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to read protected shared notes via public search. The GET /share/api/notes handler validates only the requested ancestor, then returns unfiltered full-text hits and exposes a boolean content oracle. Exposure requires a published subtree containing a public ancestor and a descendant protected by shareCredentials or hidden from the tree.
