Authenticated database manipulation via unvalidated deleteid parameter
Published May 4, 2026 · Updated May 4, 2026
SQL injection in CodeAstro Online Classroom 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to manipulate its database via the deleteid parameter. The studentdetails endpoint inserts deleteid directly into a MySQL query without validation or parameter binding, enabling boolean-, error-, and time-based injection. A valid PHP session is required; successful exploitation enables unauthorized database reads or changes and can interrupt database-backed service.
