Code injection in JSONata before 1.8.8 and 2.0.0 through 2.2.0 allows attackers to execute code via crafted expressions. Transform evaluation permits $clone replacement, wildcard access exposes function internals, and applyProcedure trusts a replaceable forEach before forged lambda state reaches prototype constructors. Exploitation requires an application to evaluate attacker-controlled expressions and executes with the host process's privileges.
