Authenticated disclosure via unfiltered bridge fields
Published Oct 13, 2026 · Updated Oct 13, 2026
Read-ACL bypass in obsidian-tc before 1.3.1 allows remote authenticated users to read denied-note data via bridge tools. tasks_filter filters items but exposes denied-note group counts, makemd_query passes sibling fields through, and list_templates returns template paths and user-function bodies without a read-whitelist check. Exposure requires enabled bridge tools connected to running Obsidian and a restrictive read ACL; the demonstrated consequence is unauthorized reading or inference, not note modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
