SSRF via unvalidated user-level SMTP host
Published Aug 31, 2026 · Updated Sep 1, 2026
SSRF in ellite Wallos before 5.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to probe internal services via a stored SMTP host. The saveemailnotifications.php endpoint stores smtpaddress without validate_smtp_host(), and notification cron jobs assign it to PHPMailer. A non-admin account and enabled scheduled jobs are required; impact is limited to outbound TCP connections and SMTP-level interaction.
