Service crash via unvalidated WebSocket frame length
Published Sep 22, 2026 · Updated Sep 22, 2026
Denial of service in emiago SIPGO 1.4.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to crash WS or WSS servers with an oversized frame header. WSConnection.Read creates an unlimited wsutil.Reader, then allocates header.Length before ParseMaxMessageLength validates the client-controlled value. Any unauthenticated WS or WSS peer can trigger a makeslice panic or memory exhaustion before sending the declared payload.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
