Cross-user attachment deletion via unscoped identifiers
Published Sep 24, 2026 · Updated Sep 24, 2026
Broken access control in Liketrek TREK before 3.3.0 allows remote authenticated users to delete other users' note-file attachments. The deleteNoteFile service resolves the target by sequential note and file identifiers without binding it to the trip authorized by the controller. Edit access to any trip is sufficient to delete attachments across other trips, while attachment reads remain trip-scoped.
