Internal service access via unvalidated URL headers
Published Sep 22, 2026 · Updated Sep 22, 2026
SSRF in MCP Atlassian before 0.22.0 allows attackers to access internal services via crafted Atlassian URL headers. _process_authentication_headers accepts caller-controlled Jira and Confluence URLs, and fetcher construction uses them without validate_url_for_ssrf. The attacker must reach an HTTP transport and set the service URL headers; successful requests can access internal or metadata-service endpoints.
