Unauthenticated SSRF via DNS rebinding race
Published Sep 22, 2026 · Updated Sep 22, 2026
SSRF in MCP Atlassian before 0.22.0 allows remote attackers to reach internal or metadata services through crafted URL headers. validate_url_for_ssrf validates a header hostname's first DNS answer, but the HTTP client resolves the unpinned hostname again when connecting. Exploitation requires control of rebinding DNS timing; a successful race sends server-side requests to private addresses or cloud metadata endpoints.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
