SSRF via omitted redirect-validation hooks
Published Sep 22, 2026 · Updated Sep 22, 2026
SSRF in MCP Atlassian before 0.22.0 allows remote attackers to reach internal addresses through redirects from a configured Atlassian instance. JiraFetcher and ConfluenceFetcher sessions in the basic-auth and OAuth/PAT branches omit the response hook that revalidates each redirect destination. Exploitation requires an attacker-controlled or compromised configured Atlassian instance and exposes internal HTTP services reachable from the server.
