Authenticated content disclosure via incomplete filter enforcement
Published Sep 22, 2026 · Updated Sep 22, 2026
Incorrect authorization in sooperset MCP Atlassian before 0.22.0 allows remote authenticated users to read restricted Jira or Confluence content. Jira search trusts any project clause, Confluence search performs an incomplete case-sensitive space check, and Jira board paths omit filter enforcement. Exploitation requires configured project or space filters and operator credentials whose Atlassian access extends beyond those allowlists.
