Unauthenticated blind SSRF via unchecked redirects
Published Sep 22, 2026 · Updated Sep 22, 2026
SSRF in MCP Atlassian before 0.22.0 allows remote attackers to send blind GET requests to internal hosts through crafted redirects. JiraUserMixin._lookup_user_by_permissions calls module-level requests.get, so redirects bypass the _make_ssrf_safe_hook attached to the Jira session. An unauthenticated caller must reach an HTTP multi-tenant deployment and force the user-lookup fallback; the result is internal reachability, port discovery, or activation of GET endpoints.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
