Restricted metadata disclosure via unchecked localization routes
Published Sep 8, 2026 · Updated Sep 8, 2026
Missing authorization in TYPO3 CMS 10.0.0 through 14.3.6 allows remote authenticated users to read restricted content metadata. The getUsedLanguagesInPage() and getRecordLocalizeSummary() AJAX endpoints accept a page ID and return languages, record titles, UIDs, and backend-layout columns without checking PAGE_SHOW access. A low-privileged backend account with page-module access is required; disclosure is limited to metadata for pages outside that account's permitted range.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
