Authenticated database disclosure via unrestricted inline editing
Published Aug 25, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026
Authorization bypass in TYPO3 Extension Modules before 7.10.4 and 8.0.0 through 8.1.3 allows remote authenticated users to read database fields. Its inline-editing AJAX endpoint accepts user-controlled table, field, and record identifiers without checking field-level view or edit permissions, then exposes the selected value in an error response. Access requires a valid low-privileged TYPO3 backend account authorized for the extension backend module; disclosed values include user password hashes.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
