Subscriber-level popup disclosure via unchecked preview ID
Published Aug 23, 2026 · Updated Aug 23, 2026
Broken object-level authorization in Brave Popup Builder before 0.8.6 allows remote authenticated users to read unpublished popup content. The bravepop_render_popup() preview branch in lib/render.php accepts the brave_popup query value and renders that post without capability, ownership, or status checks. Subscriber or WooCommerce Customer access is sufficient to enumerate sequential post IDs and expose draft or targeting-restricted popup data.
