Heap-based buffer overflow in Commvault Cloud CommServe allows remote attackers to interrupt the service via network traffic. Commvault has not disclosed the affected CommServe routine, input field, or the operation that writes beyond the allocated heap buffer. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the documented consequence is limited to service availability without reported data access or code execution.
