Credential exfiltration via allowed-domains bypass
Published Aug 20, 2026 · Updated Aug 20, 2026
Authorization bypass in n8n before 1.123.69, 2.x before 2.33.4, and 2.x before 2.34.1 allows remote authenticated users to exfiltrate credentials. In the GraphQL node, setting the Authentication parameter to expression mode marks every authentication-gated credential selector as active, but the node applies allowed-domains checks from only the first attached credential while still sending material from both. Exploitation requires workflow-authoring rights and two attached credentials of different types, so exposure is limited to instances where lower-trust users can build workflows and reuse restricted credentials.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
