Authenticated internal endpoint access via unvalidated feed URL
Published Aug 20, 2026 · Updated Aug 20, 2026
Server-side request forgery in Omnivore allows remote authenticated users to query internal endpoints through the scanFeeds GraphQL query. The scanFeedsResolver passes its caller-supplied URL directly to axios.get without running validateUrl, unlike adjacent subscription and page-save paths. Any authenticated account can retrieve feed-shaped metadata or discover reachable internal ports from parsing results and errors; arbitrary response bodies are not returned.
