Authenticated command execution via unsanitized vid argument
Published May 3, 2026 · Updated May 3, 2026
Command injection in JD Cloud JDCOS 4.5.1.r4518 allows remote authenticated users to execute OS commands through the /jdcap service interface. The set_iptv_info function processes the attacker-controlled vid argument without neutralizing command syntax before command execution. Low-privileged authentication is required; successful exploitation runs commands in the service context and can read, alter, or interrupt device services.
