Unauthenticated document disclosure via unchecked preview identifier
Published May 3, 2026 · Updated May 3, 2026
Improper authorization in AFFiNE 0.26.0 through 0.26.3 allows remote attackers to read restricted document previews. The allowDocPreview function on /workspace/:workspaceId/:docId uses an attacker-supplied document identifier without enforcing that the selected document is authorized for public Markdown preview. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the reported consequence is limited to disclosure of document content.
