Subscriber-level arbitrary file deletion via unchecked path
Published Sep 12, 2026 · Updated Sep 12, 2026
Path traversal in WebTotem Backups 1.0.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to delete arbitrary server files. The file-deletion request handler accepts a user-controlled path without validation, omits a capability check, and discards its CSRF check result. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and deletion of configuration or application files can interrupt the site or enable site takeover.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
