CVE-2026-77005Network attack vector

Subscriber-level file deletion via unvalidated path

Published Sep 12, 2026 · Updated Sep 12, 2026

Path traversal in Code Monkeys Proposals 1.0.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to delete arbitrary server files. The plugin passes a user-supplied file path to a deletion operation without validating that the path stays within an allowed directory or checking the requester's capability. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and deleting security-critical files can enable site takeover.
