Data access via save_category SQL injection
Published Aug 20, 2026 · Updated Aug 20, 2026
SQL injection in SourceCodester Simple Online Food Ordering System 1.0 lets attackers read and modify data via the save_category id parameter. The /fos/admin/ajax.php?action=save_category handler uses the id value directly in SQL queries without validation or parameter binding, and the public proof of concept reports boolean-based and time-based blind injection through that field. The proof of concept targets an admin-side AJAX endpoint, while the CNA's published CVSS vectors score exploitation as requiring low privileges; public evidence shows database disclosure and tampering potential, not code execution.
