Cross-site scripting via unescaped header attribute values

Cross-site scripting in affected Apache Wicket releases allows remote authenticated users to execute script in users' browsers. MetaDataHeaderItem replaces double quotes in addTagAttribute, forMetaTag, and forLinkTag values with backslash-quote, which does not escape HTML and lets the quote terminate its attribute. Exploitation requires an application to pass attacker-influenced data through one of those APIs and a user to load the generated page; the resulting script runs in that user's browser context.
