Stored credential disclosure via syslog source overwrite
Published Sep 23, 2026 · Updated Sep 23, 2026
Data exposure in Zoho Corporation ManageEngine Firewall Analyzer and OpManager 12.8.709 and earlier allows remote attackers to obtain credentials. The syslog collector trusts each datagram's source host to overwrite the monitored firewall's device IP, then uses that IP for a later CLI connection. The attacker needs UDP reachability to the syslog listener; OpManager is affected only with the Firewall Analyzer plugin enabled, and the CLI session discloses stored firewall credentials.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

CVSS describes severity. EPSS estimates exploitation probability.
Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
