Low-privilege firewall command execution via Diagnose parameter
Published Sep 23, 2026 · Updated Sep 23, 2026
Command injection in ManageEngine Firewall Analyzer and OpManager 12.8.709 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run firewall CLI commands. The Diagnose Settings handler inserts a crafted request parameter into a CLI command and sends it to the monitored firewall with credentials stored by the product. Exploitation requires a low-privilege product account and Firewall Analyzer, or OpManager with the Firewall Analyzer Plugin enabled; successful requests run arbitrary commands on the firewall.
