Unauthenticated credential disclosure and tenant data destruction
Published Sep 8, 2026 · Updated Sep 8, 2026
Insufficient credential protection in SAP CAP applications using @sap/cds-mtxs 4.0.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to obtain credentials. SAP states only that the library performs insufficient checks on unspecified functionality and has not disclosed the request handler or omitted validation. Exposure requires a multitenant CAP application with extensibility enabled; leaked credentials let remote attackers replace or delete tenant data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=<=2.7.6
- Affected versionversion=<=3.9.6
- Affected versionversion=<=4.0.2
