Improper authentication throttling in Ebyte NE2-D11 Firmware FW-9167-0-11 allows remote attackers to automate password guessing. The device's password-authentication path accepts repeated attempts without rate limiting or account lockout. Network access to a deployment using password-based authentication is sufficient, and a guessed password grants the corresponding account access.
