Cross-project configuration disclosure via unchecked feature cloning
Published Sep 22, 2026 · Updated Sep 22, 2026
Authorization bypass in Unleash before 8.0.3 allows remote authenticated users to read cross-project feature configuration via cloning. The cloneFeatureToggle path authorizes creation in the destination project but fails to verify that the named feature belongs to a source project accessible to the caller. Exploitation requires create or clone permission in one project and knowledge or a guess of a globally unique feature name; copied strategies, constraints, variants, and payloads become readable.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
