Authenticated command execution via adm.cgi command parameter
Published May 3, 2026 · Updated May 3, 2026
Command injection in Wavlink WL-WN570HA1 R70HA1 V1410_221110 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands. The set_sys_cmd handler in /cgi-bin/adm.cgi evaluates shell metacharacters in the command form parameter, as demonstrated by a POST body using command substitution. A valid management session is required; injected commands run on the appliance and can read or alter data or interrupt its services.
