SQL injection via unescaped jsonArrayContains value
Published Aug 21, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026
SQL injection in GeoTools 30.5 through 33.5, 34.0 through 34.4, and 35.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL expressions. FilterToSqlHelper.constructEquality inserts the jsonArrayContains value into a generated jsonb_path_exists expression without escaping it as a JSON literal. Exploitation requires a network-exposed OGC filter path, PostGIS 12 or later, and a String or JSON field; database privileges bound the resulting data access, modification, or service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
