Authenticated OS command execution via Username injection
Published May 3, 2026 · Updated May 3, 2026
Command injection in Wavlink WL-WN570HA1 R70HA1 V1410_221110 allows remote authenticated users to execute OS commands via Username. The set_sys_adm function in /cgi-bin/adm.cgi passes the Username form value to a shell command without neutralizing command-substitution syntax. A valid management session is required; injected commands run in the appliance web-management context and can read or alter device data or interrupt service.
