Signature forgery via loose hash comparison
Published May 3, 2026 · Updated May 3, 2026
Improper signature verification in Dolibarr ERP & CRM 23.0.0 through 23.0.2 allows remote attackers to forge online signatures. The Online Signature Module's dol_verifyHash function compares a computed hash with an untrusted value using PHP loose equality, permitting type-juggling matches instead of an exact cryptographic comparison. No privileges or user interaction are required, but successful exploitation is highly complex and the reported impact is limited to integrity.
