Service crash via unchecked QoS parameter conversion
Published Sep 15, 2026 · Updated Sep 15, 2026
NULL pointer dereference in Netcore NR255-V 1.5.130703 allows remote attackers to crash the router via crafted QoS requests. The filter_conn_del_cgi.c and gre_prio_set_cgi.c QoS setter handlers process attacker-controlled values with atoi() without validating the conversion results, leading to a NULL pointer dereference. The public record does not state whether the management interface requires authentication; successful exploitation interrupts routing service.
