Credential disclosure via unfiltered sandboxed offsetGet
Published Aug 25, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026
Information disclosure in GetGrav Grav before 2.0.16 allows remote authenticated users to extract password hashes and 2FA secrets. The Twig sandbox allow-lists offsetGet() and offsetExists() on UserInterface, while User::offsetGet() returns sensitive fields without the redaction applied by jsonSerialize(). Page-edit permission and a sandbox context containing a User object are required; exposed hashes enable offline cracking, and 2FA seeds permit valid TOTP generation.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
