Stored XSS via unescaped mention display name
Published Aug 24, 2026 · Updated Aug 24, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in Baserow before 2.3.0 allows remote authenticated users to run scripts through rich-text mentions. The mention renderer inserts the stored first_name value into a data-label attribute and element body without HTML encoding, then rich-text fields render the resulting markup. Workspace membership is sufficient, and each member who views a cell mentioning the malicious account executes the persistent payload without a click.
