Native code execution via Goja heap overwrite
Published Sep 22, 2026 · Updated Sep 22, 2026
Code execution in ProjectDiscovery Nuclei before 3.10.0 allows attackers to execute native code via an untrusted JavaScript template. The embedded Goja runtime in pkg/js/ performs an out-of-bounds heap write on attacker-controlled JavaScript during template evaluation. Exploitation requires an operator or integrated SDK to accept the template, but unsigned JavaScript templates execute by default without the code-template flag.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
