Local file disclosure via MySQL sandbox bypass
Published Sep 22, 2026 · Updated Sep 22, 2026
Sandbox bypass in ProjectDiscovery Nuclei allows remote attackers to read arbitrary local files through an attacker-controlled MySQL server. The nuclei/mysql JavaScript library accepts allowAllFiles in a template-supplied DSN, then honors LOAD DATA LOCAL INFILE requests without enforcing the local-file sandbox. Exploitation requires a user or integrated service to run an untrusted JavaScript template against the attacker's MySQL-compatible endpoint; the server receives the requested file contents.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
